BARRY KESSLER

Barry has been practicing law for more than fifty years in estate and trust planning and administration, for both U.S. and International clients, with an emphasis in multi generational trust administration and U.S. taxation of nonresident aliens. Barry has served as Trustee of family trusts and has formulated their complex restructuring designed to achieve the changing goals and circumstances of clients, all while maintaining beneficial tax and asset protection aspects. Barry is a former Internal Revenue Service Agent and has prepared and supervised Judicial and Annual Accountings for Trustees and Executors.
Before becoming Counsel, Barry was a partner in Joseph and Koppel and Koppel Kessler Julie LLP (predecessors to Julie Kessler LLP). He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1968. Barry earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from New York University School of Law in 1968 and his bachelor’s degree from City College of New York in 1962. |
